Beanstalk School of Performing Arts 'takes children's dreams to new heights'. We give every child the opportunity to perform on the stage in front of an audience.
Beanstalk School of Performing Arts was founded by Mr Jack Carberry in 2018. Jack Carberry is a very experinced actor from county Tyrone in Northern Ireland and has performed all over Ireland including the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
All our students get to work with local experienced actors as well as working with and learning from Jack Carberry

Bringing Home Broadway
After the huge success of last years Summer Musical - A Musical Trip to Broadway - we are back again with our second summer project. If you are aged between 8-17 then help Beanstalk School of Performing Arts in Bringing Home Broadway and Apply today! Spaces for this course are limited and due to last year, there is a huge demand for these places. The course will extend an extra week ! Featuring some of Broadway's favourite musical phenomenon's such as Little Shop of Horrors, Dear Evan Hansen, Sister Act, Les Miserables and many, many more... this is a show you don't want to miss the opportunity to be in!

Filmmaking Workshop
Beanstalk School of Performing Arts will be opening a 'Filmmaking Workshop' this Easter. The course will be open to 12-17 year olds who have an interest in making and editing their own films. Students will be giving the chance to plan, shoot, edit and showcase their own films with a mini Film Festival at the end of the week. Dates and location is to be confirmed. Please apply soon as spaces are limited. Th charge for the course is £50pp - family deals are available. Tickets to the film festival can be bought of any Beanstalk SOPA staff member

Jack Carberry
Jack Carberry is the founder and director of Beanstalk School of Performing Arts.
He has years of experience, performing in many productions throughout Ireland.
He has made an appearance in Belfast's Grand Opera House on 5 occasions.
He recently participated in a production with CineMagic and CCEA , 'A Stone's Throw', as Big JC the youth leader, that went on to perform for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
He also recently starred in Stewartstown Armature Dramatic Society's 20th Annual Pantomime, Alice in Wonderland, as the Mad Hatter.
Jack appeared in a film, 'Good Vibrations' as a young bully at the beginning.
Jack has made numerous local appearances in the Dungannon, Coalisland and Cookstown area in pantomimes and other local productions.
Jack is very keen to help teach our students skills in order to purse their dreams in theatre.

Drama Facilitator:
Due to Beanstalk School of Performing Arts extending our hours, we are needing experienced actors and facilitators to join us on our journey.
Facilitators will be required to instruct the cast members in acting, dancing and singing throughout our productions.
During weekly classes, facilitators will be required to plan and deliver activities related to and that will develop acting ability, create workshops that explore a range of acting areas that will benefit acting ability with the youth, cover for other facilitators who are unable to teach (where possible) and to, occasionally, be able to deliver workshops in local schools.
When working with Beanstalk School of Performing Arts, facilitators will be required to attend regular meeting with the board, be a mentor for the young children, be a Beanstalk School of Performing Arts ambassador, be a positive role model and provide support, work within our Safe from Harm policy and undertake other roles indicated by Management (eg: admin, registration etc.).
Experience:
Essential:

This is a zero hour contract with a one month notice period
Salary:
£15 per session plus travel expenses.
If running an external workshop: £30 per workshop
Hours of Work:
2 hours per week ( afterschool groups)
Up to 5 hour workshops (internal and external)
Summer projects: 5 hours daily
More hours can be arranged due to availability and for cover.
Other Qualifications Desired:
Any dance, singing acting grades would be hugely beneficial to Beanstalk School of Performing Arts however are not essential
